Detroit, Michigan. USA. 31 Gennaio 2017. Chevrolet Bolt EV è il North American Car of the Year 2017.

Il riconoscimento della Bolt EV segna la quarta volta in quattro anni che Chevrolet ha ricevuto il premio North American Car of the Year o Truck of the Year, a seguito della Corvette Stingray e la  Silverado nel 2014 e del premio vinto da Colorado nel 2015.

“La Bolt EV soddisfa la promessa di Chevrolet di offrire un’auto elettrica conveniente ad autonomia estesa” ha dichiarato Mark Reuss, vice presidente esecutivo, Sviluppo di Prodotto Globale GM. “Si tratta di un game-changer che non è solo un grande veicolo elettrico; si tratta di un veicolo da elevata autonomia”.

Fondata nel 1994, il gruppo NACTOY è composto da 60 giornalisti automobilistici professionisti provenienti dagli Stati Uniti e Canada che lavorano per riviste, televisione, radio, giornali e siti web. I giurati NACTOY hanno valutato decine di nuovi veicoli che sono andati in vendita quest’anno prima di selezionare la Bolt EV come Car of the Year 2017.

Offrendo un’autonomia stimata EPA da 238 miglia di serie (383 km) con una carica completa ad un prezzo di partenza di 37.495 dollari prima degli incentivi fiscali federali di fino a $ 7,500 a seconda della vostra situazione fiscale, la Bolt EV aggiunge il titolo del Auto dell’Anno in Nord America a un crescente elenco di riconoscimenti di indipendenti. Motor Trend ha nominato la Bolt EV 2017 Car of the Year e si è guadagnata un posto nell’elenco dei 10Best 2017 della rivista Car&Driver. Green Car Journal ha segnato anche la Bolt EV come Green Car of the Year ed i rapporti di Green Car l’hanno incoronata Best New Car to Buy.

Le caratteristiche standard della Bolt EV includono il cambio elettronico di precisione, Regen on Demand, paddle al volante e di un touchscreen a colori da 10,2 pollici. L’assetto-top model Premier aggiunge sedili in pelle, sedili anteriori e posteriori riscaldati, macchina fotografica di visione Surround, specchio telecamera posteriore e altro ancora.

La Bolt EV è stata lanciata nei mercati della California e dell’Oregon il mese scorso, con altri mercati negli stati del Nord-Est e del Mid-Atlantic, tra cui New York, Massachusetts e Virginia, vedendo le loro prime consegne di questo inverno. La Bolt EV sarà disponibile nelle concessionarie certificate in tutti gli Stati Uniti a metà 2017.

Game-changing long-range electric earns brand’s fourth award in four years

The Bolt EV’s recognition marks the fourth time in four years that Chevrolet has received the North American Car of the Year or Truck of the Year award, following the Corvette Stingray and Silverado’s wins in 2014 and the Colorado’s award in 2015.

“The Bolt EV fulfills Chevrolet’s promise to offer an affordable, long-range electric,” said Mark Reuss, executive vice president, GM Global Product Development. “It is a game-changer that is not only a great electric vehicle; it’s a great vehicle — period.”

Founded in 1994, the NACTOY group is comprised of 60 professional automotive journalists from the United States and Canada who work for magazines, television, radio, newspapers and websites. NACTOY jurors evaluated dozens of new vehicles that went on sale this year before selecting the Bolt EV as the 2017 Car of the Year.

Offering an EPA-estimated 238 miles of range on a full charge at a starting price of $37,495 before federal tax incentives of up to $7,500 depending upon your tax situation, the Bolt EV adds the title of North America Car of the Year to a growing list of independent accolades. Motor Trend® named the Bolt EV the 2017 Car of the Year and it earned a place on the 2017 Car and Driver 10Best Cars list. Green Car Journal also heralded the Bolt EV as the Green Car of the Year and Green Car reports named it the Best New Car to Buy.

Standard Bolt EV features include electronic precision shift, Regen on Demand™ steering wheel paddle and a 10.2-inch-diagonal color touchscreen. The top-trim Premier model adds leather-appointed seats, front and rear heated seats, surround vision camera, rear camera mirror and more.

The Bolt EV rolled into California and Oregon markets last month, with additional markets in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, including New York, Massachusetts and Virginia, seeing their first deliveries this winter. The Bolt EV will be available at certified dealerships across the U.S. in mid-2017.
