BMW i è lo sponsor principale del Berlino ePrix

Berlino, Germania. 17 maggio 2016. BMW i, il sub-brand del produttore di auto premium tedesco BMW, è stato svelato oggi come il title sponsor dell’ottava gara del FIA Formula E Championship 2015/2016 a Berlino il 21 Maggio.

La gara si terrà su una pista nel cuore della capitale tedesca che si snoda intorno a Strausberger Platz verso Alexanderplatz lungo il Karl-Marx-Allee. La gara sarà intitolata 2016 FIA Formula E BMW i Berlin ePrix.

BMW ha fornito le automobili per tutta la stagione inaugurale di Formula E e continua a portare una flotta dei suoi altamente avanzati veicoli completamente elettrici e ibridi ad ogni gara. La sportiva BMW i8 viene ancora una volta utilizzata come Safety Car Qualcomm e l’elettrica BMW i3 ha il il ruolo di Medical Car.

Sam Piccione III, Chief Revenue Officer di Formula E, ha detto:

“E ‘una notizia fantastica che BMW i abbia deciso di mettere il suo nome al Berlino ePrix per la prima edizione della Formula E nelle strade della capitale tedesca.

La Germania è un attore chiave nella produzione di veicoli elettrici e BMW ha il ruolo di fornire i veicoli come  Partner ufficiale del campionato. Lo sfondo della gara a Berlino farà di questo un evento davvero spettacolare, soprattutto con il continuo sostegno di BMW i.”

Berlin, Germany. May 17 2016. BMW i, the sub-brand of premium German car manufacturer BMW, has today been unveiled as the title sponsor for round eight of the 2015/16 FIA Formula E Championship in Berlin on May 21.

Held on a bespoke track in the heart of the German capital winding its way around Strausberger Platz and towards Alexanderplatz along Karl-Marx-Allee, the race will be titled the 2016 FIA Formula E BMW i Berlin ePrix.

BMW supplied course cars throughout the inaugural Formula E season and continue to bring a fleet of its highly advanced fully-electric and hybrid vehicles to every race. The BMW i8 sports car is once again being used as the Qualcomm Safety Car and the all-electric BMW i3 performing the role of Medical Car.
